R. E. Kretz has worked in the telecommunications and IT industries. In the 1970s he studied transcendental meditation under Maharishi Mahesh Yogi and later spent three years with a Native American shaman. He was raised to the degree of a Master Mason and has served as Master of a Lodge as well as holding many leadership roles within the Knights Templar. He lives in Church Hill, Tennessee.

Manly P. Hall Bio:
Manly P. Hall (1901-1990) founded the Philosophical Research Society in 1934, a non-profit organization dedicated to the dissemination of useful knowledge in the fields of philosophy, comparative religion and psychology. In his long career, spanning more than 70 years of dynamic public activity, Mr. Hall delivered over 8000 lectures in the United States and abroad, authored over 150 books and essays, and wrote countless magazine articles.
Many of Mr. Hall's lectures have been transcribed and are available as pamphlets; others were taped live, and the audio recordings are available on CD's as well. He is perhaps best known for his 1928 classic, "The Secret Teachings of All Ages," an encyclopedia of the world's wisdom traditions and symbolic disciplines.
Today, younger generations are re-discovering the works and words of Manly Hall, finding that the material he put forth so many years ago is still relevant and useful today. Mr. Hall's hope for humanity was to learn from the greatest minds of all times so that we may solve current problems - both in society and in the individual - today.

Rudolf Steiner (1861-1925) was a multifaceted Austrian philosopher, writer, and social reformer who made significant contributions to a wide range of fields.

Wayne Dyer Bio:
Wayne Dyer was an American self-help author and motivational speaker. He was considered one of the ‘Fathers of the modern self-help movement’ or the ‘Fathers of motivation’. Most of his childhood was spent in orphanages and foster homes and it was also the driving force that inspired him to move ahead in life. He drew heavily from his life experiences. He started his career as a guidance counselor after receiving his D.Ed. degree in Counseling from Wayne State University. He published journals and set up a private therapy practice. His motivational speeches drew a large number of students to him, and encouraged him to put his thoughts in writing. The outcome was his first book, ‘Your Erroneous Zones’. Thereafter, he took to promoting his book with full vigor, making bookstore appearances and giving media interviews. He released audio tapes of his motivational speeches and made television appearances in talk shows. He denounced dwelling in guilt and emphasized on self-actualization and self-reliance. He did not talk about spirituality until much later in his career. He propagated the idea of being Christ-like or Buddha-like, instead of being a Christian or a Buddhist. He married thrice and had eight children.
In this episode I speak with Author Dr. Michael Grosso about his new book, 'The Yoga of Sound'. This incredible book details the time Michael spent with musical master, Nada Yoga Practitioner and spiritual leader, Swami Nada Brahmananda. As a master in both music, spirituality, and mind over matter, Michael developed a special relationship with the Swami and was told many amazing stories that are very powerful.
